Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun participating in school activities. Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club or participating in an after school activity. Clubs and activities are important to join just for the enjoyment that they will bring to most students, but they also allow the students to more easily make friends because the groups are small and they get to be themselves!

Clubs and activities provide students with many positive experiences that help them to become well-rounded individuals who are ready for college or the workplace. It helps students to become active in their school and to feel a connection the school and to others. It provides a sense of pride and school spirit and it is a positive influence on our youth today.

Battle of the Books

Fall and Spring Book Fair: Explore the Scholastic Book Fair twice a year! Students have the opportunity to explore and shop during scheduled library times and our Family Book Fair Night!

House System: 8 houses, one family! All students and staff are assigned to one of our eight houses (Amistad, Onraka, Sollevare, Isibindi, Reveur, Nukamori, Protos, and Altruismo). Students earn points throughout their day by following our HERO expectations (Hardworking, Enthusiastic, Respectful, and One). One Friday a month, students are encouraged to wear and show off their house colors. House Celebrations will be held at the end of each quarter where students can spend time with their house and the highest point earners for that quarter are announced!

Girls on the Run

Night Around the World: Help us celebrate diversity and different cultures as you travel through our school halls to be transported into countries found across the globe. You and your child will be able to participate in different activities from various cultures through food, music, dance and more!

Literacy Night: The Reading and ESL Teams invite families to a fun and engaging literacy night designed to spark a love of reading! Families will travel through literacy stations that promote reading fluency, word recognition, and comprehension—all while having fun together.

PTO Events: Our PTO organizes a variety of events throughout the school year! From the Fall Festival to Family Game Night and even a school dance! Come out and join in on the fun with your family.
